Andy Silfko and Eradicator take it slow over the first set after seeing what happen to Bergeron. Yet Silfko might of been taking it to slow giving him a 43.74 good enough for sixth.

Patrick was just testing out the course giving him a 43.28 good enough for fifth.

Joe Cypher takes the big Airborne Ranger up and over the big hill giving him fourth place, No Time.

Jim took the 57' chevy and was the first to have guts all night and floored it over the hill good enough for second. I dont have pictures from Tropical Thunders qualifying run or times from him if you were at the event please contact me ASAP

Rick Dishroon goes up and over the bus. Flash problems continued all night as i had just got this camera a week before the show. I have never took pictures at a monster truck show before so a first time coming for me. Ask anybody taking pictures there, its not easy taking pictures on a figure 8. I will have much better pictures to come in other coverages. i will also be getting a new lens and a lighting system.

Megasauras lights a car up in flames

For Racing The Brackets went like this. Airborne Ranger lost to Tropical Thunder by a good amount. Samson beat Eradicator by about 4 truck lengths. Avenger beat the fast qualifyer Backdraft easily. SECOND ROUND, Fast Loser Eradicator lost to Tropical Thunder putting Guy Wood in the finals. Avenger beat Patrick easily and Koehler advances to the finals. FINALS. very close race as Avenger nibbles out a win from Wood

For Freestyle (in no perticular order) Tropicla Thunder, Guy wood was all over the track putting on an awsome run. Wood was pulling slap wheelies left and right. Wood pulled a slpa Wheelie over the pool. Awsome sky wheelies. Score 10!!! Eradicator: Silfko was pulling off his awsome sky wheelies all over the track. The big Dodge had some nice cyclones. Got over the bus. Score 6. Samson: Dan came out and did his average ri=un like he always does good enough to please the crowd with out breaking. Dan went out and got over the pool and the Bus. My Score 5. Airborne Ranger: Joe Cypher came out and hit everything but not with authoriy. He cleared the pool and had good sky wheelies. Nothing to empreeive. Score 5. Avenger: I was expecting a lot out of Jim for biend the World Finals freestyle champ. Jim roared onto the track and Skyed over the bus. Absolutly awsome probly the best all night. He attacked everything and had good donuts. Even though he didn't win thats how he won In Vegas he attacked everything. Score: 8 Brutus: Bergeron got the truck fixed in time for freestyle. Bergeron had awsome sky wheelies. Awsome donuts from Chris. Bergeron hit everything on the track. The transmisson kicked out and ended his run about 20 seconds short. Score 7. Backdraft: Rick was stellar tonight he hit the Bus a few times and got nice air over them. Dishroon hit almost everything on thr track and keept the momentum high. Score 7 1/2. Well in conclusion this show was better then last years and lets hope that Route 66 keeps stepping it up. There is one more show at Joilet this year in October. Untill later keep on Truckin.
